Dark and brown coloured floors pair exceptionally well with balanced furniture. This means lighter furniture with enough light to make the room feel open. You’ll usually see grey and white decor themes, and other light neutrals, like tan, creme and light browns. Pair a dark floor with light walls, bright furnitures to achieve a modern luxurious look.
Alternatively for a more moody and striking interior, consider timber flooring on walls, darker paints, natural bricks. Pair it with a fireplace, timber furniture, rustic furniture and a painting or two.
